How to set up a habit spread

    1. List up to 12 habits, one per row. Group them: body, mind, home.
    2. One column per day. Weekends are marked so you can spot weekly patterns.
    3. Choose your mark: fill the box, tick it, or colour by mood or intensity (light = did a little, dark = did it all).
    4. Review on the last day: which rows are full, which are empty, and why.

Drawing a habit spread by hand takes 30–60 minutes with a ruler. This one takes a minute and still looks hand-drawn, so you can spend the time on the habits instead.

    Frequently asked questions

What is a habit tracker in a bullet journal?

A page (a “spread”) with your habits listed down the side and the days of the month across the top. You fill in a box each day you do the habit, so the month becomes a picture of your consistency.

Can I glue this into my journal?

Yes. Print it on A4 or Letter and trim it, or print at 70% scale on A5 paper (choose “scale” in the print dialog) to fit most dotted journals.

    Hand-drawn, squares or circles?

Hand-drawn boxes look like your own journal page. Circles are nice for colouring in. Squares are the neatest for ticks.
