A simple monthly routine
- Around the 25th: print next month’s tracker (the maker switches to next month after the 20th).
- Every evening: mark today’s boxes. It takes ten seconds.
- On the last day: count the boxes for each habit and write the total at the bottom.
- Next month: keep what worked, make the hard ones smaller, add one new habit at most.
Frequently asked questions
Why track habits by the month?
A month is long enough to see a pattern and short enough to stay motivated. Each new month is a clean page to keep, change or drop habits.
Does it work for any month and year?
Yes. Pick the month and year and the tracker gets the right number of days and weekdays, including leap years.
Which layout should I use?
“Days down” gives each habit its own column with bigger boxes: easier to colour and good for up to 8 habits. “Days across” fits up to 12 habits, like a bullet journal.
